Sam Allen passed away

We are deeply saddened by the news of Sam Allen’s passing. He is the founder of Allen R Shuffleboard in Seminole,Florida. Sam is known as the Shuffleboard King.On behalf of the International Shuffleboard Association we send our Deepest Condolences to Jim & Beth Allen and family.Sam was a true gentleman. Obituary | Cecile R. Messier

On behalf of the ISA we send our Deepest Condolences to Joe Messier and family on the passing of Cecile Messier. She will be remembered for her friendly smile. Cecile served as Secretary on the ISA board when her husband Joe was the ISA President. In recognition of Cecile’s contribution to shuffleboard, may her memory be a blessing. The St Petersburg Shuffleboard Club will host the 40th ISA Championship

Date October 22 - 28, 2023 Christine Page, Executive Director of the St Petersburg Club and committee presented a proposal to host in 2023. It was well received. The St Petersburg Shuffleboard Club will be celebrating 100 years. It is the oldest and largest shuffleboard club in the world. Hall of Fame Inductees 2022

On behalf of the International Shuffleboard Association, it gives me great pleasure to announce that four people will be inducted into the ISA Hall of Fame.    The induction for  Ellen Hansson and Mats Graff-Wang from Norway and Bob Jones and Michael Hirsch from the USA will take place at Ingersoll, Ontario, Canada in August 2022.
