Condolences to the Messier family

On behalf of the International Shuffleboard Association we send Condolences to the Messier family on the passing of their dad Joe Messier. Joe held the position of the ISA president from 2004 to 2006. Joe was well known in all the countries and represented the USA in many ISA Championships. Joe helped many new shufflers with enthusiasm and showed us how to be a good sport. Joe has joined his wife Cecile, who passed away one year ago. They are together again enjoying each other. May they Rest In Peace. We keep the Messier family in our thoughts and prayers. [...]

On behalf of the International Shuffleboard Association, it gives me great pleasure to announce that 6 people will be inducted into the ISA Hall of Fame in the “Special Award” category. They are most deserving of this prestigious award. The induction will take place at the 40th World Shuffleboard Championship in October at St Petersburg, Florida.  Congratulations! The tournament is over

On behalf of the ISA, “Sincere Thanks” to the Canadian National Shuffleboard Association, President Norm Lindsay, committees and volunteers for hosting a successful ISA World Team Championship.  Wednesday was an awesome full day at Niagara Falls that was enjoyed by all. There was lots to do and see there. Ending our day with a delicious meal over looking the water.
