altAustralia has entered the World Shuffleboard League.
3 teams have already been registered and a few more are to be expected as Australia’s Shuffleboard President Ian Reiher has announced: “we hope to have between six to eight teams operating this season and are making the league one of our Association’s activities.”
With that number of teams, Australia…

…would have a major part of their members participating in the WSL, a model that could set example for others.
Now, the players do not need to travel to compete with each other and with their International friends from around the world. Many of the “Aussies” still remember the excitement when being host of the ISA tournament in 2008 and of course all the International travellers still recall the perfect organization in a wonderful country.
A country that is usually described as “down under” should now be called “right in the middle”. If the “Aussies” manage to bring 8 teams into the WSL, they are the #1 country.
Good onya, Australia.
