altToday for the first time the official World Reord for the WSL has been announced. Lore Wüllner from Germany's team "Generation X" scored a fabulous 207 points on 03. October 2010. After the first month of the World Shuffleboard League has passed, it is time to honour the best performances. Besides the World Record, the various Country Records for the participating countries have been announced.

Following are the various Country Record holders:

Australia:  Marjorie Bradshaw (137) from "Happy Nomads"
Canada:   Erika Berg (175) from "Imperial Pals"
Germany: Lore Wüllner (207) from "Generation X"
USA:          John Brennan (190) from "Clearwater SC1"

Although the WSL is clearly a team event, outstanding personal achievements must be recognized. The WSL congratulates all record holders. You might notice that 3 out of 4 records were scored by women, plus the World Record. The big boys are having a hard time these days. Let's see whether they can strike back.

UPDATE ON AUSTRALIA: John Murphy from "Flying Scots" scored a new Australian Country Record (142) on 10 November 2010.
