Johanna Haider from the “Flying Scots” and Erika Berg from the “Imperial Pals” scored new Country Records for Australia and Canada respectively.

As more and more players get used to the special skills of SpeedShuffleboard, the scores rise overall and in average. Johanna Haider improved Australia’s Country Record to 152 points from a previous 142 points. While the players’s name changed, the team holding the prestigious title remains the same: the “Flying Scots”. With Australia now being the country with the highest number of participating teams (7), there are probably  more high scores to follow.

Erika Berg from mixed CAN/US team “Imperial Pals”, improved her own high score to 191 points on 10 November. With this score Canada overtook the USA record by just 1 point. This should be reason enough for all US participants to strike back and even try to beat the current World Record of Lore Wüllner from Germany (207).

Congratulations to all Record Holders.
