Australia is the leading country in the WSL in terms of number of teams. As the “Aussies” get used to this kind of competition it is not only quantity but also quality that they demonstrate.
Shirley Korevaar has lifted the official Australian Country Record to 162 points. She scored this during her first appearance for team “Coolie Coolcats”. Her teammates are husband John Korevaar, and former ASA Presidents Jack Connolly and Malcolm Crowder.
Although Australia has already established 8 teams, there are rumors that they are looking to build up two more teams with their best shooters to move up the ladder of the League Ranking.
