Former ISA President Gus Bondi Leaves Us

On behalf of the International Shuffleboard Association we send our Deepest Condolences to Marie Bondi and family with the passing of Gus Bondi on May 22, 2020. May warm memories surround them and bring them comfort.
Gus was president of the ISA from 2006 – 2008. He was inducted into the ISA Hall of Fame in 2009.
Gus was always a great supporter and promoter of shuffleboard. He played an important role in an ISA delegation that participated at the TAFISA World Games in 2012 at Lithuania. Gus always expressed kind remarks about his fellow shufflers.
Losing someone we love is never easy, but we must be thankful for the beautiful moments and memories we shared with Gus.
May Gus Rest In Peace
We keep Marie and family in our thoughts and prayers.

Myrna Bilton
International Shuffleboard Association Inc, President

The Shuffleboard community lost one of their biggest supporters, and I lost a true friend. Gus and I played in a few tournaments together and usually did well. We had fun beating Earl Ball and Henry Strong in a State tournament at the Zephyrhills Shuffleboard club 2 years in a row, and Gus wouldn’t let them live it down. He will be dearly missed. RIP my friend.
