First European Championship to be held 2017 in Hohenroda, Germany

European Championship 2017The German Shuffleboard Association is proud to announce that it will be hosting the very first Shuffleboard European Championship. The tournament will take place from March 2nd to 5th 2017 at the Hessen Hotelpark Hohenroda, Germany. The 2010 World Championship venue with its 870m² hall will once again provide perfect conditions for players and guests alike.

The top 48 men and women from Austria, Germany, Norway and the United Kingdom will compete for the title of “European Shuffleboard Champion”. The presidents of the 4 European Shuffleboard Associations decided to start this tournament format in order to satisfy the increasing interest of Shuffleboard in Europe and enable European Shufflers to compete on an international basis more often.
