What a week!! What a celebration!!
Celebrating 100 years at the St Petersburg Shuffleboard Club. On behalf of the International Shuffleboard Association I am honoured to say “THANK YOU” to the St Petersburg Shuffleboard Club for hosting a class act championship……you were a fantastic host. The founders would be so proud of you. History has been made. There are only a few short weeks left until the 40th Shuffleboard World Championship. Already now, the tournament organization has launched a website specially designed for the tournament. Use this site to plan your visit to the Tampa Bay area. It has links to things to do, places to visit and ways to get around. Congratulations to 100 players from 8 countries around the world selected to represent their respective nations at the 40th ISA World Shuffleboard Championship! The event will take place at the World’s largest and oldest shuffleboard club, in St Petersburg, Florida, USA, in October 23-27.
Condolences to the Chiba Family
We are saddened to hear of the passing of Mr Jiro Chiba from Japan. Mr Chiba passed away May 8th, 2023 at the age of 93. He always looked forward to playing at the ISA Championships. Mr Jiro Chiba held the office of President for the Japan National Shuffleboard Association in 2007. On behalf of the ISA we keep the Chiba family in our thoughts and prayers.
